RECOMMENDED RISK GROUPS FOR INFLUENZA VACCINATIONS
Those aged 65 years and older
Those with chronic pulmonary (including asthma), cardiovascular (except hypertension), renal, hepatic, neurological, haematological or metabolic (including diabetes mellitus) disorders
Immunocompromised individuals (including those receiving immunosuppression or people living with HIV)
Pregnant women (all trimesters) or those who could become pregnant
Residents of chronic (intermediate or long-term)-care facilities
Healthcare personnel
Morbidly obese patients (BMI of 40 or greater)
Household contacts and caregivers of children younger than 5 years of age and adults 50 years of age and older
Household contacts and caregivers of people with medical conditions that put them at higher risk for severe complications from influenza
